More classes and performances coming!!!

Julianna has been a student of flamenco since 2001 and has been performing and teaching flamenco for over 6 years. Her continued flamenco study has taken her to New York City where she studied with Andrea Del Conte, Barbara Martinez, Carmela Greco, and Jose Galvan, as well as to Granada, Spain to study under Marie Carmen Guerrero and to California with La Fibi. She just returned in March 2009 from Sevilla, Spain where she studied for 6 months with master teachers Concha Vargas, Juan Polvillo, and Paqui del Rio.

As a performer Julianna's dancing is explosive and sensual. As a teacher she provides students with a solid foundation in flamenco's rules and techniques, emphasizing posture, footwork, rhythmic patterns, and the relationship between music and dancer. Most importantly, she provides students with a safe space to express their uniquenesses. Previous students of Julianna's have described her class as fun, inspiring, informative, energetic, and transformative.
