She has performed on stages throughout the U.S. and in Spain. Brigida was on the dance faculty at the Santa Fe Community College for five years teaching both flamenco and jazz dance. She has also taught at the National Conservatory of Flamenco in Albuquerque, Institute for Spanish Arts in Santa Fe, University of New Mexico and the National Hispanic Cultural Center, in addition to workshops in various cities nationally. Sara went on to study flamenco in Spain, and stays current with the latest flamenco forms when Spain comes to Albuquerque every year in the form of Festival Flamenco.
